Welcome to Adam Kent & Son Billy - RSL
Presidents Report 2019-21
It has been a pleasure to be President of the Warrnambool and District Motorcycle Owners Club for the year 2021 – 2022.
The year started off with Covid restrictions still in place, however, as the year progressed, we moved into a more ‘normal’ lifestyle that we were accustomed to.
At the start of the Club’s fiscal year, it was the clubs wish to run a social night every alternate month after our general meetings. This I believe has been well supported by members, meeting at places such as the Warrnambool Bowls Club for a night of barefoot bowls, a dinner at Rafferty’s tavern and a dinner and presentation night at the RSL.
This year we had a special presentation of Life Membership to our Club. It was my honor to present Graeme Robinson and Trevor McKenzie with their Life Membership at the June Social Night at the RSL.
Graeme was a very active member with the Club as the Treasurer and committee member with the Surf City Safari.
Trevor has always been involved as committee member especially with the organization of the Surf City Safari and lead ride on many occasions.
I would like to thank our Secretary Elaine Finnigan for her tireless efforts and her devotion to the Warrnambool and District Motorcycle Owners Club. Without her dedication ensuring every member is notified of what is happening in the club, such as; bike sales, members welfare, when fees are due, Surf City Rally, notification of meetings, and minutes of our meetings, we would not be the Club we are today.
Another person I want to thank is our ride coordinator, Bruce Brown. Bruce ensures that every first Sunday of the month we have a specific destination planned to ride to and a lead rider and tail end charlie. On most other Sundays and Thursday’s, Bruce is generally there to lead us around the south west area of Victoria.
On a sad note, we unfortunately lost one of our members, Bill Bloom. Bill passed away on the 12th May. Bill enjoyed his Sunday rides and, on a few occasions, led the rides. Bill’s family decided to conduct a private funeral.

SECRETARY’S REPORT - ELAINE FINNIGAN
Welcome to the AGM and good to see you all have survived the Covid. It has been a quiet 2 years but we are back on track. Not a lot for me to say after Barrys Report. Thank you to Barry for his support as President for the last 12 months and Kevin Langley as Vice President. David Morse & Wayne Fary as Scruitineers for Club Permit. They have been busy over the last 18 months as a lot of bikes that were in the back of the shed came out while people were in lock down. Thank you to Bruce Brown for his leadership on rides. Bruce would find every new road going. I would have been lost last Sunday. Bill Owens for keeping WEB page up todate and Committee Members. A big thank you to you all.
It was disappointing not to be able to run the Surf City Rally again but Im sure the 40th Rally will go ahead on the 29th/30th October
We now have 279 Members.
