WDMOC Inc 2025 Presidents report
- Welcome to members and any guests
- Get wells have continued for more members who have been ill or accident prone
- Website progress is slow due to my lack of progress and difficulty in getting the password to change over. I use finger recognition and I’m not chopping it off!
- It seems to me that it’s been a fairly quiet year for the club but having talked with similar clubs this seems to be a pattern; are we afraid of more government interference, is our average age getting older or have our reasons for being members changed. Why do we not see 300 members? but they keep rejoining. Perhaps a short email questionnaire?
- My ‘rider of the year’ goes to Mike Lansdowne, Orford resident but regular rider despite misfortunes
- As a point as current President, due to my health I am having to go on rides part way eg to Morning Tea then returning home , no shame in this and perhaps we could encourage more members to do the short run and a chat if that be.
- I would ideally like to see a younger member step up to be president, it’s actually an easy job

SECRETARY’S REPORT - ELAINE FINNIGAN
Welcome members to the 2025 AGM.
It has being a very quiet year. Bill has had a lot of health problems over the year. We wish Bill all the best.Thank you Kevin Langley for stepping in at meetings and Rally when Bill was unwell.

WEB PAGE MANAGER - A big thank you to Bill Owens on his management of the WEB PAGE. Peter O’Keeffe will be taking over as WEB Page Manager. Thank you Peter.
CLUB PERMITS - A big thank you to Wayne Fary & David Morse. The Club has 299 members and there are over half members that have Club Permits. There are over 230 Club Permit Bikes that need to be signed off each year so between David, Wayne & myself we see someone nearly every week.
BRUCE BROWN - Ride Coordinator - Thank you Bruce for turning up every week to lead rides.
Our Social Nights have been enjoyable and have 30 plus turn up.
This year we have had a few accidents but hope everyone is on the mend. Between Barry Moran and Richard Litt I think would be a bit of beeping at Airports now. We wish Richard a Speedy Recovery.
Bruce Ludeman a Life Member passed away .
Once again we had a very enjoyable Surf City Safari and thank you all that attended. This years Rally will be 25th/26th October. Hope to see a lot of our Club Permit Bikes out.

RIDE CO ORDINATOR REPORT AUG 24 TO JUL 25
Throughout the year we have had good attendance on Thursday and Sunday rides. Numbers between 2 and 19 have attended rides on a regular basis.
First Sunday of the month lunch rides have had similar patronage. Two lunch rides during the year have been organised and led by a member other than myself, thanks Ken.

Destination choice for rides is a constant search for ideas within the acceptable boundaries of time and distance. It would be advantageous for more than one member to put their hand up to run a lunch ride and would result in rides to more unfamiliar places.
Help and advice in relation to overall distance, road types, food availability, fuel supply distances, etc and advertising to members is readily available.
Summary
Ride participation has largely consisted of a core group of riders with occasional attendance by other members.
I think this is largely that many members have family and or work commitments that compete for their time.
If you haven’t been on a ride for some time, make the effort to come along for a pleasant non competitive ride in good company with people of similar interests, we are a motorcycle owners club and motorcycles are made to be ridden.
