PRESIDENTS REPORT
Happy New Year to all our members and their families.
At our last meeting on the 10th November, we had a powerful and enlightening presentation on ‘Your Heart Matters’ by Donna Koik.
Donna spoke to us on the warning signs of a heart attack. Will you recognize your heart attack, reduce your risks of a heart attack and where to book in to have your free heart check.
Donna is here once again this week to give us an overview of ‘Your Heart Matters’ which will lead us into this weeks CPR training.
TOY RUN
Was very successful once again with over 200 close to 300 bikes attending. Early last year the Club decided to help with the Toy Run by supplying corner marshals. According to one rider that I spoke with, the marshals were a great asset and he hoped to see them again this year. Thanks, Bruce, for organising the Marshals.
A number of members gathered to hand over the Club’s donation of $1000 to the Salvation Army to put toward their Christmas Toys.
Thanks to Wayne McConnell who assisted us with traffic signs on the corner of Bank Street and Princess Hwy. I will approach a Traffic Control Organisation to see if they could supply a couple of people on this same intersection for this year.
