PRESIDENTS REPORT

Welcome to members
On a personal note, I would like to wish all those members and relatives undergoing health treatment a positive outcome
I hope to be back riding in a couple of weeks
Due to my current health and memory problems, I would ask members to remind me of who you are especially when moving/seconding motions
I already mentioned this last meeting, lawyer Serge Suggested we look, at next opportunity to build our reserve to $10,000 as our security blanket and look at our risk assessment policy and donate to areas that are affected. The committee discussed this and would like to recommend the following to members. (Elaine, money transfer in July, donation to Tayla, save up for significant donation to hospital in 2026)
Peter O’Keefe has kindly offered to take on the role of Website Administrator to help balance my life and I thank him sincerely for this. I will stay for a while as co admin for when he is travelling and help train him in its idiosyncratic behaviour
Bruce will be going through some important ride behaviours so please listen to him carefully
Enjoy the evening and if you’ve time, have a chat and a coffee afterwards

RIDE REPORTS

Australia Day Ride -   Led by Ken Rowe
10 bikes headed for Timboon onto Lavers Hill for Smoko then Apollo Bay, Lorne and Lunch at Deans Marsh.

Feb 2nd -    7 Members had Morning Tea at Heywood.   6 continued on a Mystery Tour to Portland for Lunch.
         Thanks, Ken Rowe, for leading.

March 2nd   -    Bruce back on the Bike.
             15 Members headed for Derrinallum for Morning Tea.   We then headed to Avoca for a delicious Pie.   Some back roads, rough roads, Drizzle, wind.    A total of 460 kms.

April 6th   -    To be decided on the day.

GENERAL BUSINESS

After Bill explaining that we need to have over $10,000 in reserve we have decided to increase our investment account by $5000 when due in July.    Investment account will be $12,500.

MOTION:    Committee moved that $5000 be paid into Investment Account when Term Deposis due in August, 25\”

Tayla Relph will be competing again in the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championships.   Tayla finished 7th Overall last year.   We wish Tayla all the best for this coming season.   The Committee approved a donation of $2000 for the 2025 season.
