Andy Clingan is now home from hospital and recovery is going well with no long term injuries.

PRESIDENTS REPORT
Since the last meeting I have been on most Club rides, including the Ride to Remember, then a solo tour after the Ride to Remember from Ararat to Marysville and the Gippsland Hills.1420km
We are now waiting on the ATO to deal with our documentation in regard to our banking issue.
Following the Andy Clingan Accident on the 1st March Lunch Ride along the GOR to Beech Forest, I have been reviewing club procedures and documents.
A number of members have also made good suggestions. This will be addressed in General Business.

RIDE REPORTS
Most Rides are reported on with a few photos on our Facebook page.
The Club Thursday and Sunday Rides were to Willaura, Orford Steam Rally, Mortlake, Penshurst, Peterborough, Camperdown, Noorat, Port Campbel , Port Fairy and Heywood.
Ride to Remember a group of 9 riders from the club attended along with 590 others.
Australia Day Ride 26 Jan - GOR To Deans Marsh Lead by Allan Simpson
March 1st Sunday lunch ride - GOR to Beach Forest. Organised and lead by Allan Simpson.
Thanks to all members who have lead rides and been Tail End Charlie.
I encourage all members to think about new destinations for weekly rides and monthly lunch rides.
Bruce Brown: Black Dog Ride on Sunday 15 March from Hamilton , so 8:00 am KFC for Hamilton 10;00 am rider briefing 10.30 stands up to Portland 1.00 pm
Roads Rally on the Civic Green on Saturday 21 March. Flyer emailed to Members
Murray to Moyne 28—29 March Richard Litt in charge from Echuca
It was suggested that the Club have a ride for Club Permit Bikes & Invite Scooter Riders on May 17th. Flyers will be made up before hand to allow members to put on any scooters they see around town etc. Destination will be determined soon so it can be advertised.
Scooters and Red Plate 80km/h take one route and possibly other bikes 100km/h take a different route but all arriving at destination together.
MOTION: That the Red Plate ride after the May meeting on Sunday 17th May be a scooter/red plate combined ride. So shorter distance with max speed about 80 km/hr.

Night ride- there was some discussion on a possible night ride but nothing was decided.

APRIL 5TH - NO LUNCH TIME RIDE. 10AM RIDE TO DESTINATION DECIDED ON DAY.
MAY 3RD - 9AM LUNCH TIME RIDE - ORGANISED BY KEN ROWE. Bruce will forward details closer to date.

Sent out with the January Minutes was information about group riding and rider responsibilities.
Simply - Obey road rules. Safe Speed. Safe distance between riders.
We are looking into providing a Motorcycle First Aid Course.
Having an Expert Rider Education Guest Speaker attend a future meeting.
Motorcycle Crash Cards for members so they can record Emergency Contact details. Each brochure has two cards in it, one for inside helmet and one for wallet or jacket pocket.
Trevor now has 70 Motorcycle Crash Cards brochures and will have them in his top box for members to obtain at rides or you can get them from the Warrnambool VicRoads Office brochure stand inside door.
It is advisable to have your Emergency Contact Details on your phone. The Club does not know Emergency Details so if an accident does happen it is handy for police to be able to contact Emergency Contact.
SOCIAL NIGHT - 28 Attended Social Night at the Victoria Hotel.

SURF CITY SAFARI
Surf City Safari - Rally in October GP is 24 & 25 Oct Rally 31 Oct & 1 Nov?
A member mentioned that Camperdown Trialla is on 31 Oct and 1 Nov and that it would be good if we didn’t clash so members could attend both.
A Motion was sent out to The Committee to determine the date of our Rally. It has been moved that the Rally will be on the 31st October/1st November.
