PRESIDENTS REPORT
Thanks everyone for coming to the meeting tonight.
I sort of enjoyed my holiday away but came back with a nasty tumor on my head as you can see.
There will be an operation hopefully within a month but I suspect it means I won’t be riding again until some time next year when I can get a helmet back over my head.
I’ll let Bruce talk about the rally in my absence. I’d like to thank the work that Bruce Kevin Elaine and others did in getting the rally running so smoothly. Special mention to Kevin Langley for stepping up as president in my absence.
I only heard of two incidents that we won’t mention here.
Apart from that I gather it ran quite smoothly, so thanks to all of those that attended or took part in the rally in someway. I haven’t got much else to say so this is a very brief presidents report.

Tony Kane explained Corner Marshalls to new members and stressed never turn up without a full tank of fuel. Never know how far it might be to get to Coffee spot.
Neil Primmer inquired what we will be doing with money in our Account and would donations be given.
President Bill explained the Rules from Consumer Affairs and said that if by chance we breached the Consumer Affairs rules and were reported the fine could be up to that amount. We are still awaiting Taxation ruling on whether we are a tax-exempt club and this could also incur costs. We did our last round of donations in February of 2024 and should expect to do something similar around February 2025. we do need to have around $10,000 in our account to ensure the club remains financially viable.

RALLY REPORT
Thank you to everyone who attended the Surf City Safari. The weather was very kind to us. We had 73 Entries. 80 attended lunch on Saturday and 60 Sunday. 69 had an enjoyable night at the RSL Saturday night. Hopefully you enjoyed your free raffles. Thank you to Millers Motorcycle, Kate Brown, Tanya Casamento, Jamie Nicolson, Ken Sadler, Keith & June Bonnett, Geoff Grec, Kevin Langley and Peter Earls for helping to fill the bags.
Thank you to Saputo, Skip Webster, Woods Motorcycles for lucky Entry prizes.
Thank you to Bruce Brown & Colin Moorfield for very scenic rides and roads that weren’t full of pot holes. Greg & Jan Batten Back up Tailer. They did have a pick up each day. Trevor McKenzie and Jamie Nicolson for all the photos.
