PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Since the last meeting I have spent time reading club policies on the website.
I will work systematically through them and ensure we are meeting our responsibilities for Consumer Affairs.
I also noted the Members Code of Conduct:
Member responsibility - as you are representing the club while riding and sitting having coffee. Be aware of doing the right thing.
I have enjoyed riding with the club again. In Bruce’s absence I have led a few rides.
I have just this week returned from a 21-day Campervan holiday to Brisbane where I enjoyed riding in the Glass House Mountains and Lamington National Park with a mate who lives in Brisbane.

RIDE REPORTS The August Sunday Lunch Ride was to the Western Hotel Caramut, the ride lead by Trevor White went well. Morning tea in Camperdown and then onto Caramut with 18 enjoying lunch at the hotel.
September lunch ride to Port McDonald was a wet day with only two brave riders attending, Skip lead.
Other rides have been to Peterborough, Terang, Koroit, Penshurst, Derrinalum and Port Campbell. Today’s ride was To the Penshurst Bakery
There is usually a photo put up on our Facebook page of the days ride.
GENERAL BUSINESS We discussed Bruce’s letter in regard to the need for a new ride coordinator due to Bruce being unwell. It was decided that we could manage without a formal Ride Coordinator until later in the year when we will readdress the issue.
Barry Moran offered to plan the Sunday 5th October Lunch Ride.
It was decided that the Club Sunday Sept 14 ride would be to support the Ride for Life, World Suicide Prevention Day being hosted by the Rum Runners Adventure Club. Meet at the Flying Horse for stands up at 10.00am. $10 entry.
Barry Moran spoke about a Movie Night showing “Travellers” being run by the Warrnambool Day Break Rotary to raise funds to End Polio Now on 2/10/25 at 6:00 pm. $25 at ticket Contact Cheryl Bellman 0409 003 625
Bill Owens spoke about the Club History he is putting together, he would love any contributions from members. (Stories and photos etc.)
It was moved that we should get Elaine some flowers, Trevor to purchase and deliver to Elaine and pass on the members best wishes for a speedy recovery from her recent bicycle fall. Moved Bill Owens Sec: Peter O’Keeffe
CLUB PERMITS With Elaine recovering anyone requiring club permit action should see David Morse and Wayne Fary.
NOMINATION OF NEW MEMBERSHIP Neither Allan Ingram or Jim Hoey was in attendance so this will be carried forward to the next meeting.
LIFE MEMBERSHIP As Michael Stephens was away for the Annual Meeting. President Trevor presented Michael with his Life Membership for 25 years loyal service to the club.
RALLY The Planning for the 43rd Warrnambool Surf City Safari to be held on 25/26 October is well underway.
Entry forms have been emailed to all members. Please complete and return by 17 October.
